Doreen's Do
In November 2022 we sadly lost one of our members, Doreen Marshall.
At 95 Doreen had had a full life and was a regular attender at the Theatre and at Friends’ Events.
Due to her love of the Friends’ we received a monetary gift from her son, Barry, to be used towards the cost of an event. Doreen loved an afternoon tea and so we are hosting this event in her honour.
The tea will comprise:
– Selection of Sandwiches, Quiche, Sausage Roll, Corned Beef Pie
– Fruit Scone with Jam and Clotted Cream
– Mini Strawberry Tart, Victoria Sponge, Fresh Cream Meringue Kisses, Raspberry Brownie Bite
– Served with Tea or Coffee
We will also be holding a raffle for a special framed print of the Theatre Royal which had been given to Doreen on her 90th birthday.
