Trip to Scarborough
Constant Companions is Alan Ayckbourn’s 89th play.
In this play he weaves together the stories of high-flying lawyer, Lorraine, lonely bachelor Dan, and technician Winston with his characteristic humour and compassion.
The Friends’ popular annual visit to Scarborough was re-established last year following lock down and will again take place in September.
After leaving Newcastle at 8.30am, there will be time for a leisurely lunch in Scarborough before the matinee performance of Constant Companions. The coach will leave from Bewick Street, Newcastle (Opposite Central Station) at 8.30am and there will be a comfort stop on route. The return journey will be at 5.30pm, arriving back on Newcastle at approximately 8.00pm.
