Step into the adventure
In one of the greatest operas ever written, the dashing prince Tamino is on a quest to find love and happiness.

With the bird-catcher Papageno at his side and armed with a magic flute, he must battle trials, tribulations and an evil sorcerer to rescue the imprisoned Pamina. Yet just when success seems within reach, the Queen of the Night has a final surprise in store…

The Magic Flute is the ideal introduction to opera for everyone, packed with fantasy, romance and daring. James Brining’s production, Colin Richmond’s shape-shifting design and Mozart’s musical fireworks make for a dizzying, magical ride through a world where nothing is quite as it first appears.

There is a pre-show talk before the Thu 6 & Fri 7 Mar performances at 6pm – tickets are free but must be pre-booked
